Anyone know what this is? There's thousands of them in the surfline and they attach themselves like leeches to any exposed skin. They also have a barbed stinger that can pack quite a wallop.

    Thats a "Mantis Shrimp", and they can kill when they collect in mass on the beach. They are also very tasty.
