Daylight Savings -- NOT!

Daylight Saving Time is upon us again this weekend. As you set your clocks forward one hour, ponder this: The Wall Street Journal reports on a definitive study showing that the change to Daylight Savings Time results in increased electrical usage. So why are we changing to Daylight Savings Time even sooner this year? Could it be because of the utility companies and energy traders who lobbied for the earlier change? Also, California is about to deregulate energy once again. Remember the last time we deregulated energy? The people who made billions from the last go round have lobbied again.

  3. Screw your paranoid political BS. I wanna here about BK!!!!

  4. Mr.Levin, you give us that BK lead. There's nothing worse than yesterday's news. Why don't post something on how he can find work and be part of society just like Terry Beard?

  5. BK is circling the drain as we speak. He goes for arraignment on Wednesday and has no bail money unless Allen Seymour comes through.

Allen has so far collected almost $32,000.00 towards BK's $10,000.00 bail, although rumor has it that he has a call in to the governator to get him a full pardon.

  9. Hello, mi nombre es Indulto. Why doesn't San Onofre Surfing Club
(f.1952) dig into their coffers consisting of $189,000.00 and give BK another chance. Look what incarceration did for TBird. Free Big Kook, and free him now. PLEASE!

  10. Jesooz Christos-another chance?? Damn, I wish I could have four (4) chances in life. Ain't gonna happen. I am afraid that mandatory incarceration, detox and re-hab in going to be the only thing that saves BIG KOOK.

  11. You, Anonymous, are in reality a member of the once forgiving San Onofre Surfing Club (f 1952). Dr.Barney Wilkes, Eddue
McBride, and the original members would have given him another chance. What would Jim Irwin do if he had access to SANODAZE. You must turn the other cheek/

  12. You're killin me here. I have been where BK is and believe me, you gotta hit rock bottom. I have tried personally to help out BK to get sober but he just won't bite. I honestly think this is the best route for him.

    But I could be wrong!!!!!

  13. Anonymous #6, BK, under advice from Council, shall enter a plea at his arraingment early today:

    GUILTY AS CHARGED!

He threw himself at the mercy of the court. He begins his 120 day sentence Friday. Court would not entertain leniancy.

  14. Instead of castigating the poor chap think of him in your prayers today. Would anyone be intersted in creating a candlelight prayer vigil fo BK? Maybe, Sunday at Old Man's.

  15. BK's paddle-out and fundraiser is scheduled for Sunday at noon. No permit needed as no one is expected to show.

  16. Ranger Diarywimple, that's not funny at all. Whatever happened to your partner, the one with all the hair on his back, actually, it resembled a rug.
