Work Begins On Jetty

I shot this picture this morning and you can plainly see the barge that they will use to dump rocks to make the jetty for the new marina located just north of Trestles. According to authorities, completion is set for 2015.

puttzle, you should hang your hea in shame. That's correct. You can fool some of the people sone of the time, but you can't...you know the rest. You try to hoodwink us into thinking a Point will be constructed. Well, it ain't gonna work. That barge loaded wit huge granite stabilizers is for 241 extension directly through 'Save Our Trestles' is for the offshore extension. In other words, Save Our Trestles and Dog Beach a.k.a. San Onofre are doomed. It is suggested you inspect the plans, then decide for yourself. Stay advised with this blog.

the so-called Point at San Onofre is strictly juvenille. There is really only one point in San Clemente and that is MINE you dundrells. And stay off my grass you damn kids.

I found an interesting, if not unrelated, story. Nearby they are engaged in a conservation effort. They are building a reef in mitigation of some of the damage caused by the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station. Then I read that the reef will be built with 100,000 tons of quarry rock from Catalina Island.

Query then, what does that do for the conservation of Catalina Island?

And Puttzle, was that you then, about a quarter after eight, taking a picture? Someone said so, but I was on my way out and couldn't hang around. Maybe next time.

Oh BS, Cottons is not a point! its an angled beach. The only true Point is at San Onofre where the good guys hang out, you know like Puttzle, Murphy, Dr. Ralph and so on!
