NORTH SHORE, OAHU...
Every year at about this time numerous professional and big wave surfers from all over the world converge on the north shore of Oahu to try their luck against mother nature and fellow surfers in a multitude of contests. ReplyDeletethat legendary north shore big wave rider is none other than our very own Shotzy Shafer aka. Archie Rice. We have photo documentation of him riding up to 50 footers on his lime green mat. His tow-in rides at the Cortez Bank are breathtaking.
