  1. Oh, for Lord's sake. We thought this was a surfing Blog, and Sydney Jr. Esq. has turned it into the drama hour. What's next?

  2. Lady Godiva was a freedom rider
She didnt' care if the whole world looked.
Joan of Arc with the Lord to guide her
She was a sister who really cooked.

Isadora was the first bra burner
And you're glad she showed up. (Oh yeah)
And when the country was falling apart
Betsy Ross got it all sewed up.

    And then there's Maude.
    And then there's Maude.
    And then there's Maude.
    And then there's Maude.
    And then there's Maude.
    And then there's Maude.
    And then there's

That old compromisin', enterprisin', anything but tranquilizing,
    Right on Maude.

  7. Question please. Why doesn't Sy Esq. do tributes to Doug Watts, Terry Beard, Al Gee, and all SOSC notables who deserve the recognition? Thank you.

  8. we are all such common folk in the shadow of Sir Sydney Esq.

The voice over even sounded like El Tuberoo after a couple of jugs of Bali Hai.

My dad was the town drunk. Most of the time that's not so bad; but New York City?

  20. When asked if Kobe Bryant is the best player in the NBA.
Paul Pierce said:" I don't think Kobe is the best player. I'm the best player. There's a line that separates having confidence and being conceited. I don't cross that line but I have a lot of confidence in myself."
I know this has nothing to do with post
But it really chaps my hide. Arguably Kobe may or may not be, but Paul Pierce sure as hell is not.
