Dr.Ralph, never mind Tiger, the Surf Club says the only celebs they recognize are Otis Chandler an James Arness [remember?]. What really took place the night of 4/12/86 on dead man's curve at Sunset Blvd. Remember Arnie Ginsberg.
Yessir, they shut her down last night at 1500, qand she's still closed but they reckon it'll open a week from tomorrow, but who knows? Why in the name of Allah doesn't that Surf club pave the sloppy, muddy, gummie, dirt road. Those dead guys just aren't coming back.
'Cupid', they just may return. We must be prepared in case they do. It would be unfair to abandon all hope, and the dead surfers of yesteryear suddenly reappeared. The legendary dirt road must be maintained in it's original 1948 condition.
Prophet Isiah, this is so true. Curly lived to drive out on the old dirt road, honk his "aahhhoogah" horn, Actually thinking of days gone by brings tears to my eyes. Mr.Beard prior to his passing begged the road road be untouched. Prophet, thank you fom the bottom of our heart for your support. We know, Art, and Bill, EMcB, and Doctor Barney, and, yes even Pappy Proctor, are on the road's side. Yes, and a Merry X-Mass to one and all
Notice to all dirt road supporters. This is the 21st Century. You must set yourself free. Pave your road. Live and enjoy your life. Those San Onofre Club Founders are dead and gone. They ain't not never coming back from the dead to see that old un asphalted strech of road that leads to nowheres and back anyways.
