  1. "If you could imagine the most incredible story ever, it would be less incredible than the story of being here. . .
When your soul awakens, you begin to truly inherit your life.
You leave the kingdom of fake surfaces, repetitive talk, and weary roles
and slip deeper into the true adventure of who you are and who you are called to become.
The greatest friend of the soul is the unknown. Yet we are afraid of the unknown because it lies outside our vision and our control. . ."

  2. Thanks Murph, old boy. I receive all my facts from the new 'Legend's of Surfing' fact book. Thanks, Duke.

  3. "Now you realize how precious your time here is.
You are no longer willing to squander your essence on undertakings that do not nourish your true self; your patience grows thin with tired talk and dead language. . . On this journey you begin to see how the sides of your heart that seemed awkward, contradictory, and uneven are the places where the treasure lies hidden. . .

  4. Murphy sounds a lot like Rod Serling.

  5. "I watched a small man with thick calluses on both hands work 15 and 16 hours a day.
I saw him once literally bleed from the bottoms of his feet,
a man who came here uneducated, alone, unable to speak the language,
who taught me all I needed to know about faith and hard work
by the simple eloquence of his example."

  6. Awww, Murphy. That's a bunch of bull pucky, and I'll tell you why. I heard of a man who complained he had no zapatas until he met a man with no feet

  7. Sidney Esq. I think Mrs.Claus is crying out for help. She mentioned someone should stick a fork in her because she thinks she's done and you must take her place on San-O Daze. Thank you.

  8. Mrs.Claus, methinks Mr.Carton Esq. is away from his desk until 1/3/2010.

  9. Why are we so confused
    About the way we feel
    Concerning love and passion
    or
    Where the feeling
    For love and passion
    Otiginates

  10. Every time I get a day off in the middle of the week I go to San Onofre
for a surf. Every day the road is inaccesable. The Ranger trainee says
there's a Club down there who won't asphalt the dirt road. I asked, why not. She said, if you don't like it lump it. Well, I don't like it, why don't you lump this lady, sideways.

  11. Well I went down to Doheny and they have a nice paved road. They also have a club there that sponsors weekly contests that it's members will always win as the judging is fixed.
