Oh, *Surf Star* go purchase Rensin's 'All for a few perfct waves', maybe you'll learn the truth about surfing. Your perfect San Onofre is not a panacea.
Murph doesn't come close to Weber or Dora. Not on his best day or on their worst day. He was an above average surfer in his era, but that's it, while Dora and Dewey were setting the world, at least the South Bay and Malibu, on fire.
Murph's still a great surfer with excellent wave knowledge, and he's alive and well at the point. I'd say he's way above average, especially considering his age.
Anon', he sure was. Yep, Dora's #1 tool back then. It's documented in 'All For a Few Perfect Waves'. Had it not been for Murph surfing would still be in the 'Dark Ages'. Thanks Murph for lighting the way.
.
ReplyDeleteYes Dingy, I concur, with a few provisos: I don't smoke, drink, or chew, or go with girls that do.
Did I see HilleryBillery in there? LOL

ReplyDeleteOh Surf Star, you crack me up.
ReplyDeleteThe blond chick with her hand across her stomach looks like Murph.
ReplyDeleteI've surfed with Murph, Dewey, and Dora, and they all have a certain style, and Murph is the only living one of them, so we should give him respect.
