I have been on the payroll at Camp Pendleton for two months as of tomorrow.
Because the wheels of Government turn rather slowly, I just received base access decals today.
I was operating on temporary access pass prior to that.
When I drive up to the gate I get the civilian salute and no questions are asked.
I must tell you there are some really nice beaches on base without a lot of people.
Hold you horses, Dr.Ralph. Does that wonderful pass get you on the beach at San Onofre. Yes, or no. Thank you.
