I once sat down with Tubesteak and talked about a number of tales I had heard about him, including the several different versions of how he got his name. He told me which one was true. However, knowing him as I did, I know that he would have found it great fun (if the mood struck him) to "confirm" one of the stories that he knew wasn't the true one, especially knowing that I would know that he might put one over one me in that manner and knowing that, he also might tell me the true one, knowing that I could never be sure. His was a mind, and personality, to be missed.
