SAN CLEMENTE – The body of an unidentified man was discovered by a jogger this morning at San Clemente State Park, officials said.
The body was found at 7 a.m. near one of the access trails into the park, off Avenida Del Presidente. It was located about 100 feet into the park, near the entrance to a campground.
Officials have not identified the man, but described him as an adult white male in his 40s.
While a cause of death has not been identified, there was no indication of foul play, said Steve Long, a California State Parks spokesman.
