Murph, never believe anything you read, and only half of what you see.

Hi again, everybody. Methinks the 241 crises is a hoax. Anyone who sides with it is a moron. You surfies do not own California. No way! I definatly want and welcome the the Toll Road. Why, you ask, is it a hoax? Trestles is a full half mile from where it elbows. It's not going to invade our Trestles. It is a sham you, and the rest of you activists are trying to pull off. I'm a full-fledged 3rd Generation Longboarder. Trestleas is a haven for lunatic shortboard/skateboardes. Thanks Murph for letting me get this off my chest.

do you have a business office where we may contact you regarding the building of Marbelhead Mall under construction off the I-5 Freeway south of Vista Hermosa. It is terrible. Can our surf group count on you for support? Surfrider Foundation turned their back on us. Do you charge by the hour?

Anonymous said...

Anon number 2. You are right on! Surfrider is nothing but a bunch of socialists along with the Seehaira clubees. Can you say obstruction at all times? Murph is right on also!

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, wake me when you've smelled the coffee, will ya?

Right on, Surf Star. Anon'
Ymous #2 sees through all this quagmire. You,too, see reality when it deals with Surfrider. There's a blog called Tubesteak's Diary spotlighting the misleading lies about
'saving Trestles, yeah, from what? Thanks for pointing all this bologna out. The guys name is Skelly speaking. He uncovers all. Murphy is surfing beacon.

'Front Row' wake up and smell the chorizo. Coffee is so 20th Century.
I can't believe it.

Ok, Now here this! The crowd comes from one thing and only one! Ooops! 2. The cord and the rubber shirt, period! There would be no crowd if it wern't for these 2things. The "Road" or anything else, have nothing to do with it. So get on down the road and have a good time.

Anonymous said...

STAR, why go to the beach if ther's no crowd. Answer that....will ya'.

Anonymous said...

I win, you lose. For every surfer, there are dozens of campfire girls complaining on the beach, odds are you're one of them. Sorry Murph

Anonymous said...

A few is fine. Lets see, 5 guys out at Malibu when it's 5 feet is just right. If you like the crowds, don't complain about the things that bring them there. You know, roads, rubber shirts, cords.

Anonymous said...

Surf scar,

what's a rubber shirt? A condom? A wetsuit? A straitjacket?

Anonymous said...

A wetsuit, you idiot. That's what's ruined surfing. Shortboards and wetsuits, don't even bring up kookcords. Surfers have become trendy geeks. When Murphy started surfers were outcast losers, and it was better then.

Anonymous said...

Surf Star entry above. You gut it! Hey Steak, Was I a loser? Hah

Anonymous said...

Sorry Hang Tin, but you were and are a loser. I think at this point in your life you have found a pretty good balance, but if you remember the
South Bay in the 60s then you know what I'm talking about.

Anonymous said...

Sorry scar, The 50'S and a little 60'S, Very Little. Hey, pic in Surfer, One of the first pro surf guys, as in, free boards. Hah! Too funny.

this summer it will be 50 years ago I started surfing. Us older guys all HATE change that effects surfing in any way. Sano really hasn't changed that much so be grateful. Sure we have more crowds in line and in the water but Sano is still the BEST all around in California.

Anonymous said...

Moon: You have a very low pain threshold. Sano is right there with C street in Ventura for being the most boring wave on the coast. Can you say slow! Non critical surf sucks big time!

Anonymous said...

Surf Star, sucks what big time? Well, Moondog, are you Bill Jenson or Billy Al?

Did you hear the latest? The TCA wants to take Measure M funds and put that toward tolls on their toll roads reducing the cost that one would pay to drive on the toll roads. Last I checked, we passed Measure M in 06' to improve and build new infrastructure to alleviate congestion on the freeways. But of course the TCA will tell you "no public funds will be used for toll roads." Hog wash, this is the most corrupt circus group in Orange county and it begins and ends with our county supervisors. Oh, yeh, that OC Major Investment Study that OCTA is conducting, it was supervisor Cambell that told them to model it using the 241 extension and "not" to consider if it wouldn't be built. Talk about force feeding the people a bunch of crap. By the way, there is no crisis, as the 241 extenxion will 'not' be built through Sano State Park.

'Front Row', BFD. Gasoline is to costly for anyone to drive, toll road or I-5. I reside in a bunkhouse in Riverside CA. We grow huge grapefruit and tiny kumquats. With petro and toll road charges, I'm priced right out of the market. Also, you heard it here first, SOSC BOD has requested dues be raised to $50.00 per anum.

From one loser to another;

It's "you're," not "your."

Fats Flannighan said...

Surf Star, you are correct that Sano ain't Pipeline but look at everything else she has to offer. You know I am right about that. All things considered, Sano is tops. People always gripe about Sano but they ALWAYS come back.

Huevos Rancheros said...

Doggie,I ain't never going back till they pave that annoying road. Are you in or out?

Anonymous said...

Dear up-to-here! Alrighty-then, bye bye now! We promise not to miss you, because that will NEVER happen!

Anonymous said...

Moon: You are right about the come back aspect of Sano. A great place to hang and visit. I allways here my name called out from down the beach when I'm there. Drives non beach friends and fam nutz. The Bu is the same way. If we were good at this surf stuff back then, we knew people up and down the coast. Much fewer then for sure. If you are still upright and can go in the water there is some respect. Hell, I even get it in the islands. Too much fun as the late John Goodwin would say. Maybe that's why all the interest in how we grew up by those that were not there and write about surf things they have no clue about? Hah

Sano Local, that's a horrible thing to say to anyone. All my life I've enjoyed your wonderful San Onofre, and for no reason you blindside me. Here's why you're at the bottem of the heap. I think it might be, "Bye, bye, buy bonds.

The roadway to happiness will NEVER be paved. If it was up to me it would never be graded either. Slows down the speed freaks.

The comeback aspect of Sano hit again. Just ran into a guy I went to 8th grade with and used to surf Newport some 45 years ago. Wow !!
