Man's best friend is one of the environment's worst enemies, according to a new study which says the carbon pawprint of a pet dog is more than double that of a gas-guzzling sports utility vehicle.Dog feces causes high bacterial levels in rivers, and streams, making the water unsafe to drink, starving waterways of oxygen and killing aquatic life.
But I still like dogs.

Just a darn minute. Somebody gets in the car it stinks. You don't say, "I stepprd on dog feces." No way, Tarzan. You say, "I just stepped in a big pile of dog schitt".
Anonymou, I hear that. I have a fat dog that loves to attend the local State Beach that has a dirt road. The second he gets out of the car he heads straight for the sand, and cuts loose a massive, giant, dump that a dinosaour would be proud of.
