There's more bad news for San Onofre. The United States Geological Society has issued a press release. Th sandstone bluff is saturated with rain water ready to landslide down to the sand. It is comparable to La Conchita up by Carpenteria where two people were killed. If you have beach bum friends living in the bushes above 'Nofre you must by all means alert them. Please!
Yo! Dum Ass drive to Old 'Nofre see how blown out it is. Park where asphalt ends 'cause you won't go any farther, the barricades are still up. There's another big storm due Friday. It's really coming down now @ 1:00 PM.
Yes BIGKOOK and Dr.Barney Wilkes, Bill Barnars, Burrhead, and all the dead old timers are waiting for the high sign to come parading that mud hole unpaved dirt road. BTW, did you know they discovered the world isn't flat.
My land, the dirt road at San Onofre State Surf Beach is still is still unusable, and will be for days to come. A truck loaded with asphault to pave, and seal was denied access by the Surf Club. A member with huge bushy eyebrows waved an injunction at the teamster driver. No one was injured.
Card-O, would it not be wonderful if San Onofre became a mausoleum for deceased older surfers to rest in peace? Rightfully so, they could name the toilet buildings in their memory i.e. Bob Card, Jim 'Burrhead' Drever, Dr.Wilkes, E.McB, and all the stalwarts.
Rain on January 1st! 3 to 6 inches in the coatal plains, wind gusts to 60mph (out of the south). Water temp 52. Air temp low 40s. Polio warnings posted from Point Conception to the Mexican border.
This may be the end of the Brian Ephriam and Rob Sashy tribute to the Wilson bros. annual 6am paddleout.

Holy crap. What's this all about?
why not add a stabilizer to that dirt road? it wont change the look much and would allow many more days at the beach.

I hope those people get the hint and pave that stupid dirt road at San Onofre State Surf Beach.
There isn't going to be any paving going on at 'Nofre. Not ever.

That would be Les Williams of course. He's there everyday, rain or shine, all in the clubs best interest.
