  4. You can pour and work concrete in the rain, so I'd like to see a volunteer group led by Murphy show up with shovels and trowels and get her done. This would be a cherry opportunity for Murph to gain back his Mayor title that has been usurped by his unscrupulous enemies.

  5. Ho, ho, ho, could you see Murphy guiding the truck on the dirt road,"Mom back, mom back, mom back. set tight. Okay, coffee time!

30% chance of rain means no rain. San Onofre will remain open, unless it rains like hell. All unemployed beach bum drifters stand by for work.

  7. Anonymous #2 do you not think "unscrupulous enemies" is a bit redundant? Think it over.

  8. Hey, what's the 411 on 1/1/2011 Annual Pass increase to $140.00.
    Huh?

  9. Anon #4, the new fee has been raised to $250 per yr. Furlows every other Friday throughout the year, ie gate will remain locked on those days.

  10. My Granpappy and his 'Bros' use to pour concrete in Los Angeles in the 'Roarin 20's through the Fabulous 50's'. He worked along side Jerry Witt, they started off working together off Crenshaw in 1929. Thats when there was no 'Pig Iron' like there is today! Only real Men.

I do not think it's redundant, and I think the opportunity for Murph to reacquire his mayoral magnificence at the expense of those who have pushed him aside is a worthy goal. We can't forget our roots and heroes.

  14. Anon' #7, you are so right.Murphy is a bona-fide folk hero. Murph has none more to advance San Onofre surfing more than anyone involved in surfboard riding ever and that includes Dave Daum, Paul Carter, and Mary Hartman. All clear. Over & out.

It is sooo going to rain in the next 2 hours. You can take your 30% 70% bs right where the sun don't shine. BTW The gate to the primitave dirt road shall remain closed until Monday afternoon. Buy your new pass now. Do the math. If your current pass expires b4 May, you will be better off buying one before Jan 1. Do the math.

Maybe, by 1/1/2010, some genius at San-O Daze can restructure this cement mixer stuff into what this Bolog is intended four, that being surfboard riding. Let's hope so, okay.

Camp Pendleton sewage spill causes contaminated water in San Mateo Creek and on San Onofre State Beach

    Saturday, December 25th, 2010
    Issue 51, Volume 14.

CAMP PENDLETON - Staff on Camp Pendleton reported a sewage spill yesterday, Dec. 24 to the County of San Diego that authorities say has led to contaminated water in San Mateo Creek and on San Onofre State Beach.

An estimated 1.08 million gallon sewage spill was reported to County health officials.

The spill was discovered Dec. 24 at approximately 10 a.m. and reportedly was the result of a damaged sewer main carrying secondarily treated effluent.

The sewer main was supposedly damaged by Advertisement

[ Barrier Reef Pools ] the flood waters of San Mateo Creek. Authorities believe the sewage leak began on Dec. 21 during the heavy rainfall that led to the creek flooding.

The spill has been identified as being approximately 3 miles from the ocean outfall.

Signs warning of sewage-contaminated water have been posted and will remain in place until samples confirm that the water is safe for recreatonal use.

"Terd in the Line Up", primary cause of any sewer problems can be centered on Bldg. #1 & #4 at Surf Beach San Onofre. Untreated raw sewage seeps from those latrines directly into the ocean. Something must be done, however, the fair weather club they have will not allow any repairs. What we must do is accept what they want us to do, no questions asked.

If pit toilets were good enough for Bud Morrisey, then they are good enough for Leonard!

  23. The deal with Leonard is he had neither a pot in which to piss nor a window out of which to throw it.

  25. Dennis, gawd love you, howzit' brah. San Onofre is having major sewar problems due to seepage from #1 through #5. Are you available for open pit inspection. Nobody gives a rat's ass about that beach, but I know you do.

CBS News is stationed in front of the Lifeguard Tower at Doheny Surf Park. I was told by the Ranger that they were going to do live feeds on the 3,4,and5 oclock news. Along with the rivermouth being completely busted through some children have built a shack resembling the infamous Malibu Shack. Coverage will be at the shack featuring Head Ranger. Stay tuned!
