Stop the madness! this poor fellas hand was alomost

amputated after a run in with a GIANT 13' long 6"thick

small water craft being paddled in the lineup at old mans.

Call your state parks safety people and make these wave

After a series of unfortunate incidents with "stand up paddlers"

this injury was sustained by a local man after a dangerous encounter with

a "GIANT" surfboard with a man posing as a surfer on top with a paddle.

Another Day, Another Injury

My son was riding the new surfboard he got for his birthday at San Onofre
this afternoon on the little waves at old mans. A "stand up paddler" lost control of his board
while traversing an inside section. The board hit may sons face and caused severe
injuries as it was cut by the fins. the HUGE- out of control board could not be stopped as it cut. We can look forward to many more injuries of this type. I, for one, think these type of watercraft should be operated in a safe manner by competent people. I am directing the staff at my church to arrange a full time prayer vigil to change this new freedom for the most dangerous among us,to threaten all of us.

Mike Reamer was assaulted by a group of unknown individuals at
the shower near bathroom four at San Onofre. He was "stand up paddling" at old mans surf break
San Onofre: a traditional longboard spot for over 80 years. Assaults of this type can not be condoned and we must work to surf together and in harmony. My suggestion is this: All stand ups take all the set waves and outside point breaks, and all prone surfers move to the outside at four doors or or north of the point but not quite to churches. What say you?
