A fourth possible victim has come forward in the case against Shorecliffs Middle School math teacher Richard Rack, 50, who faces accusations of inappropriate sexual conduct with several middle school students, officials said Friday.
Rack, who was arrested June 6 on suspicion of acting inappropriately with girls younger than 14, was arrested again Thursday for allegedly having sex with a third girl. He had been under investigation since November and was placed on administrative leave by the school Dec. 1, said Orange County Sheriff’s officials.
The latest accuser contacted authorities “after news reports were coming out about Richard Rack,” said Sheriff’s Department spokesman Jim Amormino. “She mentioned she was a victim while she attended Shorecliffs Middle School a couple of years ago.”
The student no longer attends Shorecliffs, but is still being classified as a “14 and under” case. She was being interviewed by investigators Friday and no further details were provided.
Rack was in custody at Theo Lacy jail in Orange with bail set at $1 million, officials said.
The allegations arising from Jane Doe No. 1 were that Rack commented on a current student's figure, peeked down her blouse, hugged and kissed her on the forehead and asked her to wear lower-cut shirts, law enforcement officials have said.
Jane Doe No. 2, also a current student, alleges that Rack asked that she send nude photos of herself, which she did.
Jane Doe No. 3, a girl who has since left Shorecliffs, allegedly maintained a sexual affair with two years.
The details of what may have happened between Jane Doe No. 4 and Rack have not been publicized.
Authorities urge anyone with information or tips in the case to call 855-TIP-OCCS (855-847-6227) or submit tips online at www.occrimestoppers.org.

San Onofre Rocks Spontaneously Combust (Again)
The 43-year-old San Clemente woman, who was not identified, was visiting the beach last Saturday with her family, and had collected seven colored rocks, Orange County fire officials said.
The woman had second- and third-degree burns on her legs, and her husband was burned on his hands as he tried to help her, fire officials said.

Previously Classified Documents Unveil Fire Dangers At San Onofre
SAN CLEMENTE (CBS) - Previously classified documents along with other evidence uncovered in an exclusive CBS2 investigation point to hidden fire dangers at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS).
Grace Van Thillo says “it’s an accident waiting to happen.”
SONGS continues to be in violation of critical decades-old fire safety standards. You have to prevent fires in reactors or you can have a meltdown and you have to create significant separation between your backup and your primary cabling,” Hirsch said, adding that “The reactor in back of us [SONGS] still hasn’t done that.”
We’ve obtained a previously classified report which shows one worker “deliberately failed to conduct required fire protection surveillances and falsified fire watch logs.”
And the report says it went on for five years between the dates of April 2001 and December 2006.
SONGS leads the nation in the number of safety complaints filed by its own employees to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
One prior employee told his managers back in 1999 about another fire risk – circuit breakers that could allow critical wiring connected to emergency pumps to overheat and catch fire. He says his supervisors ignored his concerns for years so he went to the NRC. Last year, the NRC agreed the circuit breakers did not provide adequate protection and Edison agreed to change them by the end of the year.
Nuclear experts Dan Hirsch’s assessment: “It’s a form of Russian roulette. It’s a form of tossing dice.”

Tubesteak's Health
Is Tube okay? I saw headlines that the San Onofre Nuclear
Generating Station has been closed down for the last three months because they
found that Tubesteak was showing signs of unusual wear ("Unusual
Wear Of Tube Shuts Down Nuclear Reactor"). I didn't even
know Tube was working at the nuclear plant. Apparently Tube's job is to carry
radioactive water to and from the nuclear reactors.
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) won't let San Diego Gas and Electric (SDG&E) restart the nuclear reactor until they figure out what's causing Tubesteak's condition (San Onofre To Remain Closed Until Problem With Tube Solved). I thought maybe that someone had overreacted or that maybe Tubesteak just needed a little rest and would be up and around soon, but then the Washington Post's headline caught my eye -- "Additional Tube Wear Found At Troubled San Onofre Nuclear Plant On California Coast." This is obviously worse than I thought.

How much wear and
tear can one man take? Why didn't they hire someone to help Tube carry all that
radioactive water when they expanded the number of reactors from one to three?
Unusual wear? He's doing the work of at least three men. What did they expect?
The thought of our beloved Tubesteak running from reactor to reactor carrying
all that radioactive water, until he collapses from exhaustion, is weighing
heavy on my heart. Look at the picture. That is just one of the reactor pools
that Tube has to change the water in, bucket by bucket, every day.
I've lost Tube's phone number. Can anyone who can reach him
check to see how he is? Have they done an MRI? EKG? Some blood tests?

Bathroom #4 Locals
Here we have "Poopdick Pappy" also known as "Wiskbroom Johnny" a regular at bathroom #4. Johnny hails from Hermosa Beach and lives on ricecakes and applesauce. He, like Leonard Turner likes to bum food but unlike Leonard he does not mooch beer. he is an avid surfer and prefers the slow mushy rollers of San Onofre rather than the world class waves near his home. Someday he will own a motorhome that absolutely no one will ever step foot in. Oops. He already does. No one has ever seen the inside of his motorhome, NO ONE. My guess is it is full of body parts or illicit drugs or perhaps a small arsenal. Stop by bathroom #4 sometime and enjoy a visit with this weeks 'Bathroom #4 Local' Poopdick Pappy.
