MAN TRYING TO GET RID OF WASPS SHOOTS YUPPIE IN LEG


Investigators: Bullet Strays Into SUV Where Yuppie Was Talking On Phone

SAN ONOFRE, CA. -- A man who blasted a wasp's nest with a 12-gauge shotgun was jailed after an errant pellet injured a Talegalite in a SUV, rangers said. T. Bird was charged with deadly conduct and is being held in the Vista Jail. Park Ranger Sgt. Hal Dairywimple said Bird fired the gun to break up a wasp's nest hanging from the bamboo near bathroom #4-20 shortly after 6pmWednesday. The pellet entered the SUV and struck the Talegalite in the thigh. He was hospitalized and expected tp recover.

It has been found out that the Talegalite was later arrested for deliberately pulling into the path of the bullet trying to commit suicide after he was cited by Ranger P. for speeding. He was released after Talega Surf&Sport posted the mans bail.
