Originally erected so that illegal aliens would know how far to go to steal a car, this sign just south of the San Onofre boarder check station on the old coast hwy is in need of repair.

Aw shucks, the original checkpoint for wetbacks was located on old PCH north of the yet established Basilone Rd. There was no freeway at the time. Does anyone remember Reily's Waffle Shop?
