Puttzle where were you this morning? Well the surf was a blown out mess, but the Talegalites were out in force. Then to our surpise, the Oceanside Middle School surf team showed up and went out at the Point (about 20 kids). Why would they want to come down and pay $10.00 apiece for 5 car loads to surf that slop when they could have stayed in Oceanside and surfed it for free? Sounds like the teachers need to go back to school and learn some common sense. It was also Grumpy's last day and he was bummed because of the surf, oh well! He'll be in Hawaii tomorrow and into some warm water. We'll miss his warm voice saying "oh man this sucks" or "look at all the kooks"! Well thats about it for now, more later------maybe

The park waives the fee at Cardiff Reef for the surf teams - maybe they do the same at San O for visiting schools.
No, they paid to go in according to my sources. They charge the handicaped 1/2 price. No one surfs for free at SanO.
That wasn't the Oceanside Surf Team, it was their advanced placement tolerance class. They were told that if they could put up with the grumpy old men at Sano, they had a fighting chance at passing their upcoming finals.
