Volunteer Firefighter in Wig and Bikini Charged With Disorderly Conduct

SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA — A San Clemente firefighter has been charged with drunken driving, public indecency and disorderly conduct after being arrested in a park wearing a woman's blonde wig and bikini, officials said.

Schotzy Shaffer, was to appear in Orange County Municipal Court on Thursday. He was arrested Tuesday at San Onofre state beach after Local police received a report of an intoxicated man walking and driving around the park.
The arrest report said that schotzy told an officer he was on his way to the Rib Trader to perform as a woman in a contest offering a $10,000 prize. Shaffers blood-alcohol test registered 0.174, more than twice Californias legal limit of 0.08, the report said.
Shaffer has been a firefighter with San Clemente since August 2000. Orange county fire Authority issued a statement saying shaffer would be placed on administrative leave.
