I'm not feeling so safe surfing by SONGS either.

After running a nuclear power plant for four decades, you would think the gang at SONGS might be able to predict how long it will take to perform maintenance. You’d be wrong. Not only were they wrong in their prediction, now they say they have no idea how long Unit 2 will be down (it’s been 49 days already). Unit 1 is permanently shut down and being dismantled. Unit 2, which is designed to serve 700,000 homes, is shut down and they don’t have any idea how long it will be until they can get it working. Unit 3 is working, or at least it supposedly was yesterday. Stay tuned. Some say Barney Fife retired from sheriffin’ and now runs SONGS, but I thought he died. Oh well, SONGS probably hasn’t noticed, since they skip inspections and just forge their inspection records. Hey SONGS, check Barney’s office!

I share your concerns Sydney.
But Barney Fife?
How damn old are you?

The L.A. Times article today says that there were also willful security breaches, but SONGS and the NRC won't disclose what they were.
