NOT AFFLIATED WITH THE SAN ONOFRE SURF/SURFING CLUB
I used to stand on the corner, with Henry Ford, Bob hogan, and Dale Dobson and sing doo-wop, while the tourists threw pennies in the old Pier Avenue fountain and we would dive in and recieve them much to the delight, of the local merchants as we would earn enough for Root Beer floats and a malted, which in those days was 2 bits and a nickel.
Murphy don't blog here no mo, who you trion to BS? You can't bring a dead horse back to life, and Murphy can't sing a lick. They threw pennies at them to shut them up.
This is fantastic. Why? Hogan, Dobson, that is a dream come, because Bob, he don't know Dale. The one believabe thing is F.Henry Ford is one of the premiere So. Bay guys of all time. What Pier Ave. fountain. Whaddya' nuts or what. That fountain was an outdoor public urinal that 22nd St. guys quenched their unsatiable thirst. You must be thinking Borracho Days, that's for sure. Not everybody reading San-O Daze is from San Onofre.
I'll never forget when me and Aaron Pai we're discovered at the South Bay Schwabs pharmacy. We we're both soda jerks working our way threw 22nd Street Elementary school. We would paddle our immitation Dewey weber boards up the canal for exercise every night at the stroke of midnight until Dewey caught us.
Murphy, this is fantastic. Not many remember Arron Pal, let alone the Double Duece Canal. I vaguely remember Sabu Winewinkle when he was at Schwabs South Bay.
Blahlah, South Bay bros are way rad alright.
