Murphy, you are not playing well with others! I was hoping for a more nostalgic favorite shop of yours. Surely a legend such as you has an all time favorite shop I would think. Although Ron Jon has beautiful stores, I certainly wouldn't consider them a surf shop. Don't make me nuts here Murphy.
Anon', you tell it like it are. The same nostalgic klowns having a favorite nang-out, or as you call it, surf-shop, are the same guys that stuck around for the Alma Mater at Mira Costa where Henry Ford was cheer leader. "first and ten, do it again." You know that bunch. don't you. Anyways, Spin, who died leaving Murphy a legend. So, Legends are out, Icons are in.
Remember the old, Vista theater, down near Velzys Moms, milinary shoppe? We used to sneak past old man Jones, at the box office, and catch a double feature, and news reel for free!

All surf shops, simply because they are SURF shops.
come on Murphy, which shop is your favorite because they treat you right? You wouldn't spend $500.00 at Ron Jon's would you?
Who the heck has $500 to spend anyways? But whats wrong with Ron Jon's? I liked going into Ron Jon's in Cocoa Beach.
I liked the one I worked in! 442 PCH in Hermosa.
Great topic Spin!
I'll join in tomorrow!

One of the few shop owners with any business sense at all.
Now retired and often found in his 40 foot RV at the San Clemente Wal-Mart parking lot.

I would spend every waking moment, and then some, at Henry Ford, surf shop down on Pier ave, near the old Griffen studios.
Yeah, sure, Murph, right next door to the Paddleboarder, down the Srand from the Poop Deck. Holy Crimenie, what's going on here, anyways.

I think the fraudulent Murphy is at it again, what say you?
Will you STOP, impersonating me! Why don't you go to some other, blog! What did I do, to deserve this?
But Murphy, you must say something.
Something!
You children go to the principal, right now!

Anon, thanks for being honest with us. I, myself, have loved the Frog House since day one. I must admit I have no idea where it is.
