Dingo ate me.

Isn't it interesting the words that cause a strong response in others. Jesse Jackson's, like most others in similar limelit "occupations," are more contrived than real, and here, an obvious troll.
But the post by Azaria Chamberlain, who says Dingo ate her, made me woefully sad. Her mother was sentenced to life in prison for murdering her. Then a number of years later, an English tourist fell to his death from Uluru during an evening climb. Because of the terrain, it was a week before his remains were located below where he had started his fall. It was an area of many dingo lairs. Some of his bones were missing. Police searching for his bones, thinking that they might have been carried off by dingos, found Azaria Chamberlain’s little jacket, and critical piece of evidence missing from the trial. Her mother was later released and exonerated because, in spite of all the jokes, tragically, the dingo actually did eat her baby. Terrible thing to happen. Terrible that she wasn't believed. Terrible to see a joke made of it here.

Welcome to the home of bad taste!

Don't delete on account of me. I am as human as the the "others" I mentioned, and my own reaction to words is interesting, and growing, for me to see.

Maybe it's a girl thing feel so bad for the mom. Maybe in the right setting, the joke would have been funny. There are a lot of very offensive things said that pass for humor. And if a bunch of you had jumped all over me for my emotional response, then that is the way it goes.

And the log monitor's response was funny...
and true?

How could a good looking lady do that to her body?

She looks happy enough.
